About The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our small, fast-moving team, taking ownership of our React, TypeScript, and Redux–based video editor client. In partnership with backend engineers, you’ll develop end-to-end features and fine-tune playback performance for a seamless user experience. Collaborating with product and design teams, you’ll help craft an AI-first editing workflow that anticipates user needs and accelerates video creation. You’ll also partner with the marketing team to build and iterate on new Next.js pages for our landing page, ensuring they align with branding goals.

This is a high-impact role in a high-growth startup. You’ll ship fast, solve real user problems, and play a key role in shaping the product and company.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and maintain a scalable React component library and design system in TypeScript
• Optimize and extend video playback and editing workflows for performance and responsiveness
• Integrate with backend APIs and collaborate closely with backend engineers to deliver reliable, end-to-end features
• Enforce strict typing and clean, maintainable code across our React/Redux codebase
• Monitor and improve frontend performance, accessibility, and error reporting
• Optimize build configurations to improve build times, reduce bundle size, and boost performance
• Rapidly prototype, build, and iterate on new frontend features in a lean, high-growth environment
• Partner with the marketing team to build and iterate on Next.js landing pages that drive conversion and reflect our brand tone
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in frontend development.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React.js, Next.js, Redux, and Tailwind CSS.
