Senior Front-End Developer (Angular + TypeScript)

Persimmony is rebuilding the software that powers America’s social safety net. Our platform helps government health and human services agencies manage care, collect data, and support millions of people who rely on public programs. We are a profitable, established company, with 20-years of experience in our market, but we don’t run like a big corporate.

We’re looking for a Senior Front-End Developer to join us on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a hands-on role building the core UI for a modern SaaS platform from the ground up — using Angular, TypeScript, RxJS, and Tailwind.

The right person can grow into a key full-time member of our engineering team.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and build front-end features for complex workflows in our new platform.
• Create reactive interfaces using RxJS, Angular Signals, and WebSockets.
• Implement pub/sub patterns for real-time data and component communication.
• Use Tailwind CSS to create a consistent, responsive, and accessible UI.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and back-end teams to ship clean, maintainable code.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of front-end experience with deep expertise in Angular and RxJS.
• Strong command of TypeScript, component architecture, and reactive state management.
• Experience with WebSockets, pub/sub models, and real-time interfaces.
• Proficiency in Tailwind CSS, HTML, and responsive layout patterns.
• Pragmatic mindset — someone who values speed, clarity, and continuous improvement.
• Bonus: Experience in govtech, healthcare, or regulated environments. tailwind theme development

• Type: Contract-to-hire — 6-month initial contract with clear path to full-time role
• Location: Remote (U.S.-based only). Bonus points if you’re near our headquartered in Dallas, TX, but we’re looking for talent first, location second.
