• 7+ years of production software experience.
• TypeScript and React/Next.js expertise.
• Frontend architecture for complex apps.
• Own products from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with backend on APIs and data models.
• Strong product judgment and user focus.
• Experience with product analytics and experiments.
• Mentor engineers and influence direction.
• First principles thinking, grit and shipping bias.

Responsibilities

• Lead frontend development for Base web and mobile.
• Define frontend architecture and strategy across multiple product surfaces.
• Evolve frontend architecture for a fast, reliable, scalable product platform.
• Own major surfaces end-to-end from concept through production and iteration.
• Collaborate with backend engineers to design APIs and data models.
• Translate complex energy systems into clear, intuitive user experiences.
• Partner with product and design to shape the roadmap and deliver features.
• Establish engineering standards and improve developer experience across the frontend stack.
• Mentor engineers and lead cross-team initiatives beyond your own team.
• Use analytics and experimentation to improve the member experience over time.
