Job summary

Peraton is seeking a FrontEnd Web Developer to design, build, and maintain intuitive, accessible user interfaces for government customers. You will collaborate with data scientists, UX designers and product owners to deliver user-centered solutions.

You will develop responsive frontend applications using React, Node.js, and USWDS, implement reusable components, and optimize builds with Vite. A strong emphasis on accessibility and security aligns with U.S. government guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher with required years of backend/frontend context.
• Front-end applications in React/Node.js/USWDS with modern tooling.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3, JS ES6+ and responsive design.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive, accessible frontend applications using React, Node.js, and USWDS components.
• Build modular UI components and frontend architecture for scalability.
• Integrate frontend with RESTful APIs and back-end services.
• Ensure accessibility and WCAG compliance; optimize performance and cross-browser compatibility.
