Job summary

Command Cyber Solutions, LLC is seeking a Front-End Developer, SME to act as the technical authority on UI design and implementation for a federal modernization program. You will guide frontend architecture, reusable components, and accessibility compliance for USWDS, ODG, and WCAG 2.2 AA.

Remote work is offered with a strong emphasis on mentoring, collaboration with UX/UI designers, and secure coding practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
10+ years front-end experience on IT or government projects.
7+ years in senior/ SME roles.
Experience with React and cloud-hosted AWS/Kubernetes apps.
Experience in Agile/Scrum.
Familiarity with USWDS, ODG, WCAG 2.2 AA.

Responsibilities

Serve as technical authority on front-end architecture and accessibility.
Guide design and development of responsive, accessible interfaces using React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Ensure compliance with USWDS, ODG, and WCAG 2.2 AA; perform code reviews.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, and back-end engineers.
Mentor developers; conduct code reviews; support Agile lifecycle.
Support CI/CD for front-end deployments using GitHub Actions.
