Lockheed Martin Rotary & Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Front-End Software Developer in Manassas, Virginia. The role focuses on developing IT solutions across software components, with a strong emphasis on GUI development, systems integration, and agile practices.

The candidate will contribute to high-visibility projects, applying React, HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript, and MUI to deliver robust front-end interfaces in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education typically aligns with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of UI/UX experience.
• Building web-based front end GUIs
• Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Solid expertise in Linux development, integration, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in front-end programming languages (HTML/CSS/JavaScript/TypeScript and frameworks like React and MUI)
• Strong grasp of user-centered design principles
• Experience with design and prototyping software (like Figma)
• Knowledge of web accessibility and usability standards
• Experience with test automation and continuous integration and deployment
• Experience in DevSecOps and Agile methodologies

Basic Qualifications

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $135700.00 - $251900.00

• Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics.
• For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
