You will mentor junior engineers, set best practices, and collaborate with design, product, and back-end teams to ship seamless experiences for millions of users.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of front-end development experience
• 3+ years focused on React in large-scale apps
• Track record of building and deploying production-grade React apps
• Experience mentoring developers and contributing to engineering culture

Overall Purpose of Role

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer specialising in React with 5+ years of professional experience. You will take ownership of designing and delivering scalable, maintainable, and performant front-end applications. Beyond coding, you’ll set best practices, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with design, product, and back-end teams to deliver seamless experiences.

Skills and Competencies - Must haves

• Expert in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.

• Deep expertise with React (hooks, context, state management, component architecture, performance optimisation).

• Strong knowledge of CSS and responsive design principles.

• Proficient in accessibility (WCAG standards) and cross-browser compatibility.

• Testing experience: unit, integration, and end-to-end.

Optional positives

• Experience with Mantine UI library.

• Experience with Zustand for state management.

• Familiarity with React Query and Axios.

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience, with at least 3 years focused on React in large-scale applications.
