Job summary

Nscale seeks an experienced Network Engineer to design, deploy and operate high-speed Ethernet networks underpinning our AI-focused cloud. You will work on data centre fabrics, management networks, inference traffic paths and storage connectivity, ensuring scalable and reliable front-end networks across the platform.

Ideal candidates bring strong experience with BGP, OSPF, EVPN/VXLAN, VLAN/LACP, and hands-on scripting in Python or Bash to automate deployments and operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in designing, deploying and operating high-speed Ethernet networks (DC fabrics, management networks, inference paths)
• Strong knowledge of WAN/long-haul tech and data centre networking best practices
• Automation and tooling via Python or Bash scripting for network ops

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy and operate front-end Ethernet networks and data centre fabrics
• Collaborate with deployment teams on BOMs, optics, cabling and hardware selection
• Provide input to DC layout, rack elevations and reference architectures for scalable front-end networks
• Troubleshoot performance and connectivity on Ethernet front-end networks (routing, optics, long-haul)
• Automate deployment and day-to-day operations of multi-vendor Ethernet hardware and platforms
• Design and support WAN and long-haul infrastructure (carrier circuits, DCI, internet transit)
• Collaborate with Architecture and Operations to maintain reliability and observability
