Job summary

HII's Mission Technologies Division seeks a Senior Front-End Full-Stack Developer / Platform Engineer (React & TypeScript) to craft secure, high-performance web applications for DSCA. You will build responsive UIs, connect to enterprise APIs, and enable AI-enabled capabilities across platforms.

You will collaborate with product, design, backend, and platform teams, applying secure coding practices and accessibility standards throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience building production web apps with React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Ability to design reusable components, responsive interfaces and accessible UIs.
• Experience integrating front-end apps with RESTful APIs and enterprise authentication.
• Knowledge of client-side architecture, state management, error handling, and testing best practices.
• Proficiency with Git, code reviews and Agile software delivery.
• Familiarity with secure software development and DevSecOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop responsive web apps using React, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
• Build reusable UI components, dashboards, forms, workflows, and data visualizations.
• Develop AI-enabled UX, including chat interfaces and streaming responses.
• Integrate front-end apps with RESTful APIs and support async, streaming and real-time interactions.
• Implement input validation, state management, authentication flows, and role-aware UI.
• Apply secure front-end engineering practices and accessibility standards.
• Write tests at component, integration and end-to-end levels.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, platform, cybersecurity, and AI/ML teams.
• Support deployment in AWS GovCloud with API Gateway, S3 and Bedrock.
