Job summary

Belk is seeking a Manager, IT Front-End Engineering to lead a talented team focused on building scalable, high-quality user interfaces for the e-commerce platform. You will guide architecture, mentor engineers, and drive end-to-end delivery from concept to deployment.

You will collaborate with PMs, UX/UI, and other leaders to define the front-end roadmap, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure best practices across Next.js and React implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems is required.
• 10+ years of experience delivering IT solutions.
• Retail industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical guidance on front-end architecture for Next.js and React.
• Lead agile ceremonies, plan sprints, and remove impediments for predictable delivery.
• Collaborate with PMs, UX/UI designers, and other leaders to define front-end roadmap.
• Oversee analytics tagging using Tealium Tag Management.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high-quality outcomes.
• Plan and document enhancements and defect remediation; manage small projects.
• Coordinate with PMO on budgets, timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication.
• Mentor and grow a team of front-end engineers and monitor workload.
• Other duties as assigned.
