Job summary

Lids Sports Group, headquartered in Indianapolis, seeks a Senior Front-End Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern eCommerce experiences across Shopify and related platforms.

You will lead storefront development and support integrations with ERP, OMS, PIM, CRM, and other systems, collaborating with Product, UX, Marketing, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, high-performing digital experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of software development experience, with 5+ years front-end focus.
• 3+ years Shopify development experience, including Shopify Plus.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design.
• Strong React/Next.js experience; Shopify Liquid and API familiarity.
• Experience integrating Shopify with ERP/CRM/fulfillment or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify storefronts using Shopify Plus, Liquid, JS/TS, HTML, and CSS.
• Build responsive, accessible, high-performing experiences across devices.
• Develop custom Shopify themes, components, sections, app extensions, and checkout extensions.
• Architect integrations between Shopify and ERP, OMS, PIM, CRM, and other platforms.
• Consume REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven services for real-time integrations.
• Develop reusable React/Next.js components and contribute to frontend standards.
• Collaborate with UX/UI to translate requirements into scalable experiences.
• Optimize Core Web Vitals, SEO, accessibility, and conversion performance.
• Mentor engineers, participate in architecture reviews, and support CI/CD pipelines.
