Job summary

Lids Sports Group seeks a Senior Front-End Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern eCommerce experiences across Shopify Plus using Liquid, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3. You will lead storefront development, implement integrations with ERP/OMS/PIM/CRM, and work across Product, UX, Marketing, Merchandising, StoreOps, and Engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years software development with 5+ years front-end.
• 3+ years Shopify development experience, including Shopify Plus.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with React/Next.js and modern front-end frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify Liquid, Admin/Storefront APIs, GraphQL, webhooks, and checkout extensibility.
• Experience integrating Shopify with ERP/OMS/PIM/CRM/payments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Shopify storefronts (Plus) using Liquid, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML/CSS.
• Build responsive, accessible, high-performing experiences across devices.
• Develop themes, components, sections, and checkout extensions for Shopify.
• Architect and support integrations between Shopify and ERP/OMS/PIM/CRM/payments.
• Develop and consume REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and event-driven services.
• Build reusable React/Next.js components and contribute to design systems.
• Mentor engineers, participate in architecture reviews, and advocate best practices.
• Design and support automated CI/CD pipelines for Shopify themes/apps.
