Eliassen Group is hiring a Front-End Engineer II to build and enhance SPAs for internal systems and user-facing experiences. You will partner with design, API, and product teams, contribute to component libraries, and mentor juniors.

Qualifications

• 3+ years developing SPAs with a modern JS framework (Ember/React/Angular/Vue)
• Mobile-first, responsive design implementation
• Strong HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals
• Experience creating reusable components or libraries
• 1+ year with ES2015+ and Node.js
• Experience with Gulp.js or similar build tools
• Experience writing unit, integration, and acceptance/UI tests
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment
• Comfort using AI tools in development workflows
• Proficiency with React for modern feature development and migration from Ember

Responsibilities

• Develop mobile-first single page applications using Ember.js for various devices and environments
• Convert mockups into clean, reusable components
• Maintain and extend JavaScript code and legacy plugins
• Validate accessibility (Section 508) and cross-browser compatibility
• Lint, evaluate, and unit test JavaScript
• Write clean, reusable code that meets published standards
• Assist with discovery and bug diagnosis in development
• Participate in front-end and scrum ceremonies
• Maintain code libraries and document technical specs
• Research solutions and contribute to code standards and reviews
• Mentor associate front-end engineers and interns
