Job summary

Bellwood is seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep React and front-end expertise to join our Atlanta team. You will own features end-to-end, implement robust testing, and contribute to CI/CD and code review practices across client projects.

You'll mentor engineers, collaborate with distributed teams, and help build scalable patterns and design system integrations while communicating technical plans to stakeholders. Remote-friendly with on-site client visits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Deep experience with React and Redux, including design.
• Strong TypeScript, REST API integration.
• Experience in React testing (unit/integration) and E2E.
• Proven code-review leadership on React projects.
• Experience with GitHub Actions and repository administration.
• Experience building accessible, responsive UIs within a design system.

Responsibilities

• Own features end-to-end in React applications, from design through release.
• Establish automated quality gates with unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Lead code reviews to raise quality and maintainability across client codebases.
• Author and maintain GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines for build, test, lint, and security checks.
• Administer GitHub repositories, including dependency management, permissions, branch protection, and repo hygiene.
• Partner with client teams to harden security and quality posture through updates and analysis.
• Build reusable patterns and design-system components to keep products scalable.
• Mentor engineers across client and distributed teams on modern React and front-end practices.
• Communicate technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
