Job summary

Speechmatics is hiring a Senior Front-End Software Engineer to own end-to-end feature development for our user platform. You will shape UX, implement in React, and iterate based on real user data and analytics insights.

You will drive A/B tests, collaborate with designers, PMs and backend engineers, and maintain robust UI tests to ensure quality at scale. This role supports a hybrid setup with design office days and remote work flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS with production-quality frontend code.
• Product-minded engineering approach and ability to own UX/UI decisions.
• Hands-on with iterative development, A/B testing and feature experimentation.
• Familiarity with user analytics tools like Mixpanel or similar.
• Experience with UI testing frameworks and frontend best practices.
• Confident collaborating with designers, PMs and backend engineers.
• Uses user feedback and data to improve features.

Responsibilities

• Own product features from ideation to delivery and post-launch iteration.
• Build polished, accessible UIs using React, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Make UX/UI decisions independently with designers and PMs.
• Design and run A/B tests to validate product decisions.
• Leverage analytics to surface insights and guide product development.
• Collaborate with backend, product and design to ship impactful features.
• Write and maintain robust UI tests and ensure quality at scale.
• Conduct user interviews to understand usage and adoption.
