Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer – Portal (Front End) to join the Payrix software engineering team. You will own the portal services, contribute to a scalable platform, and collaborate across teams to refine requirements.

Proficiency in Angular and Node.js with experience in AWS-based environments is required. You’ll work with technologies like Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, ExpressJS, and Playwright and participate in code reviews, mentoring, and cross-team communication.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software development, with expertise in architecture and design patterns.
• Solid understanding of large-scale software systems.
• 3+ years of Angular front-end development.
• 2+ years of ExpressJS backend development.
• Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MariaDB).
• Strong communication, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of SDLC best practices and ownership of medium-sized features.

Responsibilities

• Own the portal services your team builds and drive delivery end-to-end.
• Participate in team code reviews and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to refine requirements and evolve the payments platform.
• Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders across the organization.
