Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer in the AWS Agentic AI Automated Reasoning group. The role is based in Seattle, WA or New York, NY, and involves building the agent safety platform to let customers define and audit agent boundaries.

You will design, build, and operate frontend experiences for simulating and auditing agent behavior, collaborating with scientists and engineers to bring neuro-symbolic AI into production.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of web services technologies (SOAP, HTTP, REST, WSDL, XSD).
• Broad range of software design approaches and common UX patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core components of the agent safety platform, including policy authoring, policy management, policy audit and agent simulation.
• Deliver agent safety experience in products where customers create agents today e.g. Kiro, Quick, other agentic platforms.
• Develop and operate the area.
• Mentor junior engineers, contribute to technical design reviews, and raise the bar on engineering practices across the team.
