Job summary

Biorce is seeking a seasoned frontend engineer to build scalable, responsive interfaces using React, HTML5, CSS3 and TypeScript. You will work with designers to translate mockups into pixel-perfect UI while ensuring performance and accessibility best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience with React.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control (Git) and modern build tools.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

• Develop and implement responsive, high‑performance, and scalable user interfaces using modern web technologies.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and mockups into pixel‑perfect, interactive frontend experiences.
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues, identifying and implementing solutions efficiently.
• Stay up‑to‑date with the latest frontend trends, tools, and technologies.

What We’re Looking For

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in core web technologies: HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+) or TypeScript.
• Strong experience (5+ years) with React framework/library.
• Deep understanding of responsive design principles and experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass/Less) or frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap).
• Familiarity with version control systems: Git.
• Experience with build tools and bundlers: Webpack, Vite, or Parcel.
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
• Understanding of Frontend Software Architecture and patterns.
• (Bonus) Knowledge of one or more testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• (Bonus) Familiarity with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
• (Bonus) Understanding of Accessibility (a11y) standards.
