J&T Business Consulting is seeking a senior UI Front-End / Front-End Software Engineer (Level 3) in Annapolis Junction, MD. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and full‑stack capabilities across modern UI architectures.

You will lead a front‑end team, mentor engineers, and collaborate across back‑end groups to deliver production‑ready interfaces with strong accessibility and performance. The ideal candidate has extensive DevOps, API design, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline plus 12+ years of software engineering experience, or 16 years of relevant experience without a degree.
• Minimum 7 years of database and repository interface development.
• Full‑stack experience with back‑end technologies and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Proven technical leadership in engineering teams and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor front‑end engineering teams, providing technical direction and code reviews.
• Translate designs into accessible, standards‑compliant user interfaces.
• Collaborate with back‑end engineers to design and integrate RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Contribute to full‑stack engineering efforts including microservices and deployment pipelines.
• Document system designs, test plans, and engineering standards.
