Job summary

Citi is seeking a Lead Front End Engineer in Tampa to drive architectural excellence and deliver high‑quality front‑end applications. You will guide cross‑functional teams, enforce coding standards, and shape frontend strategy across the organization.

You should bring 6+ years of experience, strong React and JS tooling skills, cloud familiarity, and experience with CI/CD and Agile practices. The role sits in a mission‑critical, enterprise environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in application development or systems analysis.
• End-to-end programming of enterprise-scale apps.
• Proven front-end design, build, and deployment experience.
• Subject matter expert in at least one dev area.
• Proficiency in React and modern JS tooling.
• Strong HTML5/CSS3 and responsive design including accessibility.
• Experience with build tools, version control, and testing frameworks.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.
• CI/CD tooling and pipelines experience.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

Responsibilities

• Partner with management teams to ensure integration of functions to meet goals and deploy new products and improvements.
• Resolve high-impact problems by analyzing complex business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in applications programming and align with architecture blueprint.
• Develop coding, testing, debugging, and deployment standards for front-end apps.
• Mentor mid-level developers and allocate tasks as needed.
• Assess risk and ensure compliance with laws, policies, and security requirements.
