BNY is seeking a highly experienced Senior Front-End Developer to shape and evolve our core design system. You will build scalable web components and collaborate with designers and other engineers to translate UI concepts into robust, accessible interfaces.

With 8+ years in front-end development and deep expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular and React, you will lead theming architectures, manage component lifecycles, and drive performance and quality across products in a fast-paced

Qualificações

• 8+ years of front-end development experience with design system creation and maintenance.
• Expert-level JavaScript and TypeScript; strong knowledge of Angular and React.
• Proficient CSS, preprocessors, CSS variables, theming, and color systems.
• Experience with Web Components in large-scale systems; packaging and versioning of design assets.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams; documentation and code demonstrations.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the development and continuous evolution of the company's design system, emphasizing reusability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Architect, develop, and implement web components that serve as the foundational elements of user interfaces across various applications.
• Drive advanced theming solutions to support multiple brand identities and user preferences, utilizing CSS variables, variable stacking, and sophisticated color systems.
• Manage the full lifecycle of design system components, including development, deployment, versioning, and ongoing maintenance.
• Oversee library and package dependency management to ensure a stable and efficient development environment.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and engineering teams to convert design principles into technical solutions that enhance user experience.
• Promote best practices in front-end development, focusing on performance, accessibility, and code quality.
• Mentor and guide junior developers and team members on design system principles and implementation techniques.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and guidelines for designers and developers to facilitate consistent and effective use of components.
• Develop working code demonstrations to showcase component capabilities and usage scenarios to internal teams and stakeholders.
