Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Senior Freight Coordinator in New York to join the Supply Chain Operations team. You will support transportation and logistics, coordinating with 3PLs and carriers to ensure service excellence, while leveraging analytics to drive improvements.

The role requires a college degree in Supply Chain or related field and 1–2 years of freight experience, with hybrid work in NYC and a 9am–5pm schedule. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

• 1–2 years of professional experience in supply chain, logistics, or freight management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; BI tools like Power BI beneficial; experience with ERP/OMS/TMS.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outbound transportation operations with 3PLs, carriers, customers, and internal teams.
• Manage daily transportation activities including shipment tracking, ETA management, and delivery updates.
• Analyze transportation performance data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Resolve operational challenges such as delays, damages, and reroutes, serving as escalation point.
• Support international export shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.

Our clientis seeking a Senior Freight Coordinator to join their team. As a Senior Freight Coordinator, you will be part of the Supply Chain Operations supporting transportation and logistics teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Coordinate outbound transportation operations, partnering with 3PLs, carriers, customers, and internal teams to ensure service excellence.
• Manage daily transportation activities including shipment tracking, ETA management, and delivery updates.
• Analyze transportation performance data, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?
