Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking a Fraud Strategy Data Analyst who will provide enterprise‑level analytical insight into fraud decisioning performance, risk reduction, customer experience, and financial outcomes across deposits, digital, payments, authentication, and the account lifecycle.

You will extract, transform, and analyze large‑scale fraud data using SAS, SQL, Python and related tools to deliver actionable insights that enable leadership to optimize fraud controls and investments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced analytics skills with fraud domain knowledge preferred.
• Proficient in SAS, SQL, Python and related analytical tools.

Responsibilities

• Leverage SAS/SQL/Python and related tools to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale fraud data to support decision making.
• Analyze fraud performance across multiple product lines to identify loss drivers and operational impacts.
• Develop and apply performance measurement frameworks to quantify fraud controls impact.
• Translate complex analyses into actionable, executive-ready recommendations for leadership.
