Qualifications

• 8+ years in fraud or risk management; analytics/m modeling preferred
• Experience with Big Data environments
• Strong coding in SAS/SQL or Python/Impala/Hive
• Advanced ML techniques including logistic regression, gradient boosting, random forests
• Proficiency with data visualization tools like Tableau
• Bachelor's degree in an analytical discipline; Master's/PhD preferred

Responsibilities

• Strategically develop and deploy fraud prevention rules
• Monitor and optimize performance for Citi Retail Services portfolio
• Identify fraud trends and implement mitigation strategies
• Collaborate on digital analytics and ML-based fraud strategies
• Balance risk and return with cross-functional stakeholders
• Own and manage fraud rules, scores, and detection strategies
• Document data requirements and perform exploratory data analysis
• Translate data into actionable consumer insights
• Communicate findings to senior leaders
• Lead technical rule writing to improve loss avoidance and customer experience
• Recommend future developments and policy enhancements
• Introduce new tools and data techniques
• Assess gaps in manual and automated processes
• Build relationships across Fraud and other teams to support implementation
• Guide junior team members and mentor talent
