Job summary

FIS is seeking a motivated Fraud Analytics professional to join our dedicated analytics team. You will work on identifying, monitoring, and mitigating first-party fraud risk while balancing customer experience, operations, and loss prevention.

You will mentor Analysts, act as SME on Fraud Analytics, design reports, and present insights to clients. A Bachelor's degree is required, with data mining and BI tool experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of internal business segments and stakeholders.
• Experience with relational databases and research methods.
• Strong presentation skills for executive audiences.
• Advanced data mining experience.
• Experience with BI tools (Hyperion, SAS, Python, Tableau).
• Ability to work independently and coach others.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a fraud analytics team providing strategic analysis and support to one client.
• Identify, monitor, and mitigate first-party fraud risk while balancing customer experience and fraud loss prevention.
• Coach and mentor Fraud Prevention Analysts and collaborate with Team Leads and Management.
• Serve as SME on Fraud Analytics and analyze fraud metrics and trends.
• Test, implement, and modify fraud strategies; report on performance.
• Create and deliver client presentations with insights on past performance and future opportunities.
• Take ownership and seek improvements; respond to ad hoc data requests.
• Work independently and with team members.
