Job summary

Fidelity Investments Inc. seeks a data analytics professional to support fraud risk and control analytics. You will analyze data to prevent fraud, assess risks, and inform policy decisions while producing global operational reports on fraud trends.

You will develop domain expertise in Fidelity’s data environment, communicate insights to stakeholders, and collaborate across cyber security teams to drive actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a quantitative, analytics, or technical field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics).
• 2+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Fraud or risk related experience preferred.
• Hands‑on experience using SQL and analytical platforms to work with large, complex datasets to deliver actionable insights.
• Experience with Python or other programming languages preferred.
• Familiarity with ETL tools such as SnapLogic, Alteryx, Informatica.
• Proven experience with data exploration and visualizations (Power BI or Tableau).
• Prior project experience leveraging financial transaction, trading, customer data preferred.

Responsibilities

• Data analysis for fraud prevention, risk assessments, controls, and policy decisions.
• Operational reporting for global operations and fraud loss and analytical trends.
• Build Fidelity-specific fraud and scam domain expertise across large customer and transaction data environments.
• Communicate analysis, collaborate with stakeholders within FRC and with partners across enterprise cyber security.
