Job summary

Vanguard is seeking an experienced fraud analytics professional in Scottsdale, AZ to lead end-to-end analytics from requirements to monitoring. You will build and test offline detections, maintain dashboards, and analyze data to spot emerging fraud patterns.

You will monitor performance metrics, support investigations, and translate complex findings for risk partners and technology teams. This hybrid role blends analytics with hands-on fraud operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years related fraud analytics experience.
• Proficient in SQL, data warehousing, and data validation.
• Strong Python or similar analytics language experience.
• Experience building dashboards in Tableau or equivalent.
• Ability to translate findings for non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute fraud analytics from requirements to monitoring.
• Develop and maintain offline fraud detections and dashboards.
• Monitor detection performance (precision, FPR, alerts, loss exposure).
• Analyze various data sources to identify fraud trends and signatures.
• Provide forensic support for incidents and control gaps.
• Document methodologies, data lineage, and testing results.
• Collaborate with analysts and partners to validate approaches.
