Job summary

Dovel Technologies, Inc. in Lanham, MD seeks a Staff II Fraud Analytics Consultant (Senior Consultant) to contribute complex analytics for fraud detection and investigations.

You will work with data scientists, fraud analysts, cybersecurity professionals, and client stakeholders to support prevention, detection, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will analyze data, develop indicators and detection logic, and document methodologies for knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, CS, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a STEM field.
• Six or more years of professional analytics experience.
• Experience with large datasets and identifying trends or anomalies.
• Experience developing reports or dashboards for decision-making.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify fraudulent patterns.
• Develop and refine predictive analytics models and detection logic.
• Provide analytical guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, loading, and quality activities.
• Create dashboards, reports, and executive summaries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client personnel on-site.
