Job summary

Guidehouse seeks a Staff II Fraud Analytics Consultant to perform complex analytics supporting fraud detection, cybersecurity monitoring, and investigations as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will collaborate with data scientists, fraud analysts, cybersecurity professionals, engineers, and client stakeholders to develop indicators, analytical methods, and dashboards, and present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field as listed.
• Six (6) or more years of professional experience in data analytics, fraud analytics, cybersecurity analytics, or related technical discipline.
• Experience analyzing large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, patterns, or correlations.
• Experience developing reports, dashboards, or analytical products for decision-making.
• Experience with SQL and data analysis tools to query, manipulate, and analyze data.
• Strong communication skills to present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work independently on cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured datasets to identify anomalous, malicious, or fraudulent patterns.
• Develop and refine predictive analytics models, indicators, detection logic, and methodologies.
• Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support data extraction, ETL activities, and data quality initiatives.
• Create dashboards, technical reports, and executive summaries.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and implement actions.
• Contribute to incident response, threat analysis, and investigations.
