Job summary

SeatGeek is seeking a Senior Analyst on the Risk Analytics team to drive fraud prevention strategies through models, experiments, and automation. You will build Python-based analyses and data pipelines, run experiments, and own model calibration and monitoring while using AI to streamline workflows.

You will collaborate with Risk Ops, Engineering, Payments, and CX to translate insights into action, develop Looker/Hex dashboards, and assess vendor performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fraud analytics, risk, fintech, or quant-heavy roles.
• Strong Python skills and end-to-end analyses and pipelines.
• Proficient SQL with complex data pulls and warehouse understanding.
• Solid statistical grounding and experimental design.
• Experience building, training, and validating classification models.
• Interest in AI-enabled workflows and automation.
• Familiarity with Looker or similar BI tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based analyses, models, and data pipelines for fraud decisioning and risk scoring.
• Design and run experiments, including A/B tests and holdouts; evaluate results.
• Develop and iterate fraud risk models using SeatGeek data; calibrate and monitor performance.
• Leverage AI tools to automate analysis and workflows; embed AI into processes.
• Contribute to vendor performance analysis and routing decision insights.
• Create dashboards and SQL views in Looker and Hex to support analytics needs.
• Monitor fraud metrics, investigate anomalies, and recommend actions.
• Collaborate with Risk Ops, Engineering, Payments, and CX to translate analysis into action.
