Job summary

U.S. citizenship required for security-clearance eligibility, onsite in Elma, NY. Must have 5+ years FPGA design experience, strong VHDL skills, and proven engineering leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of FPGA design experience.
• Strong VHDL experience.
• FPGA development and verification.
• ModelSim experience.
• Engineering team leadership/management experience.
• FPGA simulation, testing, and debugging.
• Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and power supplies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance.
• Willingness to work onsite in Elma, NY.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage approximately 5 FPGA engineers.
• Assign projects and monitor technical delivery, cost, and schedule.
• Provide technical guidance and career development.
• Derive FPGA requirements from system specifications and interface protocols.
• Participate in design and code reviews.
• Create and execute verification procedures.
• Support FPGA simulation, testing, debugging, and documentation.
