Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Palm Bay, FL, is seeking a Senior Associate, Electrical Engineering- FPGA to design and verify embedded modem and RF communication FPGA firmware. You will analyze requirements, architect FPGA-based solutions for modems, RF transmission, and satellite systems within a cooperative team environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with FPGA design, timing analysis, and verification, with a 9/80 schedule offering every other Friday off.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2+ years of related FPGA experience.
• Experience in RF communications or satellite systems is preferred.
• Ability to obtain US security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Implement, validate, and optimize FPGA firmware and DSP algorithms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define FPGA design requirements.
• Develop verification plans and perform timing analysis and clock domain crossings.
• Prepare design reviews and participate in system-level analyses.
