Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Carlsbad, CA is seeking a Sr. Specialist, FPGA Design Engineer to design and verify high-speed FPGA circuits for wireless digital communications and electronic warfare applications.

The role covers full development lifecycle from requirements through testing, collaborating with a team of engineers, and requires strong VHDL/Verilog and experience with high-speed interfaces and DSP concepts. Security clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Active U.S. security clearance

Responsibilities

• Design FPGA hardware for wireless digital communication and electronic warfare applications.
• Lead verification and validation across simulation, synthesis, place and route, and testing.
• Collaborate with a team of engineers and contribute as an individual contributor.
