Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist FPGA Electrical Engineer to develop and verify FPGA firmware for Modems, RF Transmission Systems, and Satellite Communications. You will analyze requirements, architect, and design FPGA-based solutions in a cooperative team environment.

The role requires experience in RF signal processing, timing analysis, and working across cross-functional teams, with a potential to obtain US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (EE, EET, or CE) with minimum 2 years related experience; or Master’s Degree with 0–2 years related experience; or 6 years related experience in lieu of a degree.

Responsibilities

• Utilize, implement, and validate algorithms in FPGAs and Firmware.
• Work with cross functional teams to define and refine design requirements.
• Assist in development of verification test plans aligned with system requirements.
• Prepare and participate in design and implementation reviews.
• Perform detailed analysis including requirements analysis, timing, and clock domain crossings.
• Experience in signal processing for RF communications systems.
