L3Harris Technologies seeks an FPGA-focused Electrical Engineer to design, implement, and verify DSP algorithms in FPGA firmware for modem and RF communication systems. The role requires collaboration across teams to translate requirements into reliable FPGA-based solutions.

Applicants should have hands-on FPGA experience, knowledge of high-speed interfaces, and the ability to work toward a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field with 2 years of related experience; or Master’s Degree with 0–2 years; or 6+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience in FPGA-based design and verification for modem/RF/ Satellite systems.
• Familiarity with high-level verification plans and test methodologies.

Responsabilités

• Implement and validate FPGA algorithms in Firmware.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements.
• Develop verification test plans aligned with system requirements.
• Participate in design reviews and document results.
• Analyze timing, clock domains, and data paths in FPGA designs.
• Support high-speed interfaces (e.g., GigE, SERDES, LVDS).
• Work toward obtaining US security clearance.
