Our client, MSR Technology Group, seeks a highly skilled Senior FPGA Engineering Contractor to work with the ART Microelectronics Technology team. You will contribute to cutting-edge defense solutions across Mission Systems via design, verification, and integration of high-performance FPGAs.

Responsibilities include lifecycle design, verification, and integration on target hardware, active participation in Agile processes, and engagement in peer reviews and certification activities to ensure

Qualifications

• Typically requires STEM degree and 5+ years experience, or an advanced degree with 3+ years.
• Minimum 3 years FPGA development or ASIC front-end experience.
• Proficient in VHDL/Verilog for FPGA/ASIC design.
• Experience with FPGA platforms (Xilinx/AMD, Altera) and toolchains (Vivado, Quartus, Libero).

Responsibilities

• Adhere to engineering processes and quality guidelines.
• Participate in Agile team meetings and planning.
• Design, verify, and implement FPGA solutions.
• Integrate FPGA on target hardware units.
• Support peer reviews and certification activities.
• Peer review FPGA artifacts and manage changes via Jira.
