Job summary

You’ll design, integrate, and optimize HW/SW interfaces, collaborating across hardware, software, firmware, and mechanical teams.

Qualifications

• BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
• Proven FPGA design experience with VHDL/SystemVerilog.

Responsibilities

• Implement designs in FPGA solutions for embedded controllers used in semiconductor plasma etchers.
• Collaborate with process, systems, software, electrical, firmware, and mechanical engineers to architect and design embedded solutions.
• Own and drive requirements, design, and implementation of solutions including hardware design, FPGA, firmware, and algorithms.
• Influence design decisions to partition architecture across HW/SW/FPGA.
• Design and develop interfaces to peripherals (RTDs, thermocouples, actuators, motors, sensors).
• Model signal processing paths in Matlab and port to RTL executed on FPGA.
