Job summary

CircuitHire Ltd. in Los Angeles is recruiting an experienced FPGA Design Engineer to join a defense-focused team. You’ll design and implement high‑performance DSP-focused FPGA blocks, collaborating with DSPs, EEs, and software teams across the project lifecycle.

The role emphasizes RTL development, DSP concepts, and fixed-point algorithms, with hands-on use of the Xilinx toolchain. You’ll build RTL code, run simulations, perform synthesis and timing closure, and verify hardware with logic

Salary Range: $160k-$220k depending on level hired

CircuitHire is partnering with fast-growing Defense Communications company in Los Angeles seeking experienced FPGA Design Engineers to join their team!

You’ll join a highly collaborative engineering team where you’d work on all areas of FPGA design, with an emphasis on DSP implementation. You’ll work closely with engineers across different teams to develop cutting-edge communications systems, from concept to deployment.

This would suit someone who wants to work on challenging projects, contributing to truly class-leading technologies for core products and R&D.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with DSP Engineers and EEs to development digital communications

Desired Experience:

• Xilinx toolchain experience
• A good understanding of fixed point algorithms and DSP fundamentals
• Strong testing and verification skills

Any experience in embedded C/C++, high-speed interfaces, scripting (Python/bash) is also a plus!

Salary Range: $120k - $180k base, depending on experience
