Job summary

Innova Solutions is seeking a Sr. FPGA Electrical Design Engineer for a 12-month contract in Camden, NJ. You will lead FPGA design efforts, implement RTL in VHDL, and validate hardware with comprehensive test plans. A Secret clearance is required, and experience with Xilinx FPGAs and Mentor EDA tools is expected.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a top-tier design team, strict adherence to timing, and delivery of robust FPGA solutions for defense applications.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years’ experience designing FPGA products with VHDL.
• Experience with Xilinx FPGAs and Vivado.
• Active Secret Security clearance.
• BS/MS/PhD in engineering as described.

Responsibilities

• Derive FPGA design specifications from system requirements.
• Develop detailed FPGA architecture for implementation.
• Implement design in RTL (VHDL) and perform module level simulations.
• Perform Synthesis, Place and Route (PAR) and Static Timing Analysis (STA).
• Generate verification test plans and perform End to End Simulations.
• Support Board, FPGA bring up.
• Validate design through HW/SW integration test with test equipment.
• Support product collateral for NSA certification.
