Job summary

Capstone Copper Pinto Valley is hiring for a strategic leadership role focused on planning, budgeting and transformation across the mine site. You will drive cost control, develop financial models, and coordinate capital management while ensuring safety and compliance with MSHA guidelines.

The role requires strong analytical skills, experience in mining finance, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment on site at Pinto Valley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or accounting is required.
• Experience in business analysis, cost analysis and budgeting in mining is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and budgeting cycles with timelines and detailed work requirements.
• Oversee mine budgets, Life of Mine financial models, KPIs, projections and analyses.
• Develop capital management tools and manage annual & LO M spend programs.
• Drive cost control initiatives and improve site performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality and timely delivery.
• Facilitate transformation initiatives and monitor post-implementation benefits.
• Support economics, modelling and studies as required.
