Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Marietta, GA seeks a Senior Associate to deliver FP&A engagements for middle-market clients, including PE-backed portfolios. You will support CFOs with scalable forecasting, performance analysis, and strategic decision support.

This role blends finance expertise with data analytics to drive value creation, working on cash flow modeling, budgeting, KPI dashboards, and M&A readiness with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 3 years FP&A, corporate finance, or consulting in mid-market or PE-facing environment.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, R, and data languages.
• Deep understanding of financial statements, forecasting principles, and probabilistic analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with dynamic formulas, pivot tables, and scenario modeling.
• Experience with budgeting tools and ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Adaptive Insights).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Develop 13-week cash flow forecasts and long-range financial models.
• Design and optimize budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Create KPI and dashboard visuals for financial and operational metrics.
• Conduct scenario modeling and sensitivity analyses.
• Analyze margins and profitability by product, customer, or business unit.
• Perform working capital and liquidity analysis.
• Analyze department-level spend and revenue trends.
• Interview clients and stakeholders to validate assumptions.
• Transform data and visualize results using Excel and BI tools.
• Support M&A readiness and integration planning.
