Goosehead Insurance is seeking a Senior Analyst in Financial Planning & Analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with precise, actionable insights. You will maintain financial models, deliver dashboards, and partner with leaders across the business.

The role requires strong modeling skills, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive problem-solving approach in a fast-growing, multi-location environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 4–6+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related roles.
• Strong financial modeling and Excel skills required.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience navigating data warehouses to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• Experience with financial planning tools and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Support development, maintenance, and enhancement of forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.
• Perform financial modeling and scenario analysis to evaluate performance, trends, and risks.
• Conduct variance analysis and explain key drivers to management.
• Prepare recurring and ad-hoc financial reports and dashboards for leadership.
• Partner with business leaders to provide analytical support and ensure financial alignment.
• Improve forecasting models, planning tools, and processes for accuracy and efficiency.
• Support annual planning cycle and monthly forecasts across departments.
• Collaborate with accounting and operations to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity.
• Provide financial support for strategic initiatives and special projects.
• Develop SME in key financial drivers, systems, and processes.
