Job summary

Ledgent is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst in Phoenix, AZ, to partner with the executive team and drive strategic financial planning. This role will own budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning while delivering actionable insights to influence capital allocation and growth opportunities.

Ideal candidates bring 4–8+ years in analytical finance, strong modeling skills, and experience presenting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
4–8+ years of experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or related analytical finance role.
Advanced financial modeling and forecasting expertise.
Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow analysis, and key business metrics.
Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial planning systems.
Experience creating executive-level presentations and reporting materials.
Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership and influence decision-making.

Responsibilities

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes.
Develop financial models to evaluate performance, investments, and growth initiatives.
Analyze monthly operating results and provide actionable insights to executive leadership.
Create executive-level reporting packages, dashboards, and KPI analyses.
Partner with department leaders to understand drivers and identify performance opportunities.
Support liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, and working capital optimization.
Monitor cash positions and provide recommendations regarding capital deployment.
Assist with banking relationships, debt management, and treasury operations.
Develop tools and analyses to improve cash forecasting accuracy and visibility.
Evaluate strategic initiatives, market opportunities, and investment decisions through detailed financial modeling.
Support mergers and acquisitions analysis, due diligence, and integration planning as needed.
Prepare board, lender, and investor-facing financial presentations and analyses.
Conduct scenario planning, sensitivity analyses, and strategic forecasting exercises.
Collaborate directly with senior executives on growth initiatives, expansion opportunities, and business cases.
