Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning to support the Real Estate division with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.

You will drive financial and operational analytics for real estate, store construction, and facilities management to support the company’s growth agenda and EBITDA improvements. The role requires leadership over FP&A efforts, development of dashboards, and preparation of executive reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of FP&A experience.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Excellent written/oral communication and data presentation skills.
• Strong ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, including Senior executives.
• Strong ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
• Experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
• Experience developing predictive data models, quantitative analyses and visualization of targeted data sources.
• Experience with dashboarding tools such as Power BI; Advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Lead FP&A efforts for Real Estate financial and operational analytics, partnering with department heads to develop SG&A and capex budgets and forecasts.
• Track actuals vs. plan and enforce spending within thresholds.
• Provide executive-ready presentations linking strategy, drivers and KPIs to results.
• Support KPI dashboard configuration, design, and management.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting packages for executives.
• Report actual results vs forecast and budget with variance explanations and insights.
• Benchmarks for measuring financial and operating performance.
• Develop and deliver analyses communicating key performance drivers to the business.
• Lead reviews with department leaders to realize financial commitments.
• Identify expense savings opportunities and improve productivity.
