Job summary

Syntagma Group in Edison, NJ seeks a Senior FP&A Analyst to partner with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis. This role drives insights that influence strategy and decision-making, including financial modeling, scenario analysis, and executive-ready presentations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
5–8 years of FP&A, corporate finance, or strategic analysis.
Strong experience with month-end financial reporting, forecasting, and executive presentations.
Proven ability to manage the budgeting process and deliver insights directly to senior leadership.
Retail, distribution, or multi-location business experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the month-end financial analysis process with accurate, timely reporting packages.
Perform variance analysis vs budget, forecast, and prior year; identify root causes and insights.
Prepare the monthly Executive Financial Package and quarterly Board slides with trends, risks, opportunities.
Partner with Accounting to understand accruals, adjustments, and timing variances.
Present monthly results to Finance leadership and support follow-up analysis.
