Bloomberg in New York seeks a Senior Finance Specialist to own core FP&A for the Buy-Side and partner with senior leaders on strategic financial decisions. You will lead planning, forecasting, and reporting, translating data into actionable recommendations.

You will build financial models, analyze performance, and collaborate across Product, Sales, and Engineering to drive growth and profitability while maintaining high standards of accuracy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of finance experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proven track record partnering with senior leaders.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities with large datasets.
• Strategic, commercial mindset with ability to influence decisions.
• Outstanding communication and executive storytelling.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint; experience with SAP or Oracle.

Responsabilités

• Own core FP&A activities for Buy-Side, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting, monthly and quarterly performance analysis, management reporting, and long‑range planning.
• Serve as a strategic finance partner to Buy‑Side leadership, providing financial insight, constructive challenge, and recommendations to support key business decisions.
• Develop a deep understanding of the business, its financial and operational drivers, and the broader market to connect activity to performance and growth opportunities.
• Synthesize complex financial and operational data into a clear point of view for senior leadership.
• Partner with Product and Sales leadership on commercial decisions, developing financial models to evaluate pricing and investments.
• Take ownership of open-ended questions, driving work end-to-end from problem definition to execution.
• Develop and continuously improve financial models, dashboards, KPIs, and reporting for visibility and decision‑making.
• Collaborate across Product, Sales, Engineering, Accounting, and Finance to simplify and automate processes.
