Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking a Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis to lead a finance team and partner with divisions on financial planning, reporting, and budgeting.

You will drive annual budgets and monthly forecasts, translate operational metrics into financial results, and advise senior leadership on strategic initiatives while aligning with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required).
• 8+ years of experience in related field.
• In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead a finance team and partner with operating divisions on financial planning, reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis.
• Engage and mobilize financial resources to address business problems.
• Develop and communicate annual budgets and monthly forecasts aligned with strategic goals.
• Integrate operational metrics and analytics into financial management goals and strategies.
• Ensure reporting and analysis of budgets, forecasts, cost allocations, staffing and benchmarking supports financial models.
• Identify drivers, capacity and constraints to maximize throughput at minimum cost while serving stakeholders.
• Advise senior management on financial implications of initiatives.
• Participate in business case development and performance monitoring.
• Coordinate long-term operating expense targets with pricing and affordability objectives.
• Communicate with COO leadership to maintain focus on corporate and divisional goals.
