Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead long-term planning, annual budget processes, and executive reporting. You will partner with senior leaders to model performance, evaluate strategic plans, and communicate risks and opportunities across the organization.

The role requires expert financial modeling, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to influence at the executive level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related business field.
• 7 - 10 years of total experience with 3 – 5 years of experience in Financial Planning, Corporate Finance, or Investor Relations.
• Experience in retail, consumer products, apparel, or other customer-focused industries a plus.
• Role may require mentorship and/or direct supervision of Financial Analysts or Rotational Program Associates.
• Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
• Requires focus amid rapidly shifting priorities, attention to detail, independent problem solving and adherence to tight deadlines when required.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term planning processes by coordinating with Finance and business leaders to build robust financial models.
• Consolidate projections to produce the business-wide income statement and run scenario analyses.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and provide guidance to ensure alignment with key assumptions.
• Develop executive reporting to support the annual plan and budget.
• Collaborate with management to identify informational needs and improve reporting processes.
