Job summary

Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Finance Manager to lead FP&A for the Frontier Systems Division. You will own the monthly close, forecasting, and executive reporting while partnering with program management and engineering leadership.

TS/SCI clearance desired, with extensive budgeting and financial modeling experience. You will manage IRAD programs budgeting and post‑gate spend visibility, support pricing strategy, and collaborate with Growth, Contracts, and Program

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant professional certification (CPA, CFA) is a plus.
• 4+ years experience in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting within a corporate FP&A environment.
• Experience supporting program finance or defense contracting environments is a plus.
• Strong time management skills with ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Able to understand and communicate financial performance and variance analysis to stakeholders.
• Customer service mindset.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Own financial operating rhythm: monthly close insights, forecasting, and variance drivers.
• Lead annual and quarterly planning cycles, including target setting and resource allocation.
• Develop executive-ready reporting and dashboards for leadership to drive decision-making.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to surface risks and opportunities and drive corrective actions.
• Budgeting for IRAD programs and strategic initiatives; track burn and staffing mix.
• Support program performance management by tracking actuals vs. forecast for cost elements.
• Assist pricing strategy and proposal development for pursuits.
