Job summary

Colorado College is seeking a Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead the college’s budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling across a multi-fund portfolio of about $200 million. The role partners with the AVP for Finance and campus leadership, delivering strategic insights to guide resource allocation and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 7 years of related experience preferred.
• Experience in higher education or nonprofit environments is a plus.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and financial modeling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual operating and all-funds budget development with leadership partners.
• Manage position budgets, salaries, and personnel-related costs with HR and finance teams.
• Oversee monthly management reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Develop all-funds long-range financial models on a rolling 5-year horizon and run scenario analyses.
• Provide decision support, benchmarking, and insights for leadership.
